So are these scary ghosts? Supernatural/Paranormal are sort of the same. If this is YA and it’s scary, I’d call it horror. If there’s a ticking clock, I’d call it a thriller. Or you can just pitch it as a ghost story.
I've got a genre question. My new WIP has ghosts in it. Not friendly, Casper-like ghosts or hot, bangable ghosts, bonafide ghosts. Ive heard that this is a Supernatural genre instead of paranormal. Is that true?— Anonymous
