On following up with requested partials/fulls: is there a definitive guideline? For instance an agent has on their website a followup timeframe for queries (1 month) but nothing is mentioned about partials. I’ve seen 2, 3, and 4 months and they feel like that’s a huge gap but I really want to make that “patient and professional” impression and not check in too early. What’s the general rule if an agent doesn’t specify—and is it shorter for partials or should I treat them the same? Thanks!

If an agent doesn’t have guidelines posted for following up I would say that a short polite follow up email after 60 days is appropriate.
